Professional Qualifications
I have been with RAMAC since 2013 which makes me the unofficial historian in the office. My background consists mostly of working in the governmental sector. My career started as a health inspector for the City of Racine and also with preparedness planning for the tri-county region – Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth. I also worked at UW-Parkside where I was heavily involved with the nonprofit communities in Racine and Kenosha. Those experiences were a perfect backdrop to moving into my current position as Vice President of Operations at the chamber of commerce for the greater Racine community.

Experience and Expertise
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Public Health from UW-Eau Claire. I believe in being a lifelong learner and in 2022 I finished a program through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce around organizational management. I officially have a credential of “IOM” for nonprofit organization management. I am also a proud graduate of the Leadership Racine program in 2001.

Additional Accomplishments
I am currently involved with the following organizations in the Racine community: 4th Fest of Greater Racine 1st VP and PR Committee Chair, Racine Community Foundation board member, Events and Marketing Committee Chair with Racine Revitalization Partnership, and member of the Academies of Racine Steering Committee as well as the BMAC Council Chair.

Fun Fact
I collect “monkeys” and have many unique monkey pieces from around the world.

While overseeing several store locations, I wore many hats from marketing, sales, and inventory control, to HR. This experience has given me numerous business relationships and friendships in Racine and Kenosha which aids me in my role as Business Development Coordinator at RAMAC.
