RAMAC FOUNDATION

The RAMAC Foundation supports the charitable and educational endeavors of RAMAC.

 

The Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce Foundation, Inc. is the 501(c)3 arm of the chamber of commerce. RAMAC Foundation initiatives extend RAMAC’s scope of activities. These initiatives serve a diverse audience including emerging community leaders as well as educators and students.

Initiatives of the RAMAC Foundation allow the chamber to collaborate more broadly with strategic partners and organizations to address key business and community issues. Current initiatives and programs include Leadership Racine, the National Civics Bee in collaboration with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, teacher externships, and various scholarship funding.

HISTORY

The RAMAC Foundation was originally incorporated in 1991 as Education Racine. In 2018, the name was changed to the Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce Foundation to broaden its purpose and function.
